TSA Fall Registration Details

TSA registration for the Fall 2024 season of Soccer, Baseball, and Softball will begin on Monday, July 22, 2024 at 12 PM and close on Monday, July 29, 2024 at 12 PM.  To make registration easier for all, we will be doing a staggered registration with each sport opening at a different time on Monday July 22nd.

All ages of Soccer will open on July 22 at noon

All ages of Baseball will open on July 22 at 1 pm

All ages of Softball will open on July 22 at 2 pm


Registration will take place online at www.timbergrovesports.org. Just like prior seasons, there will be separate registration links for each sport.  Please make sure to click on the correct registration.



Most of our divisions fill up very quickly, usually in a matter of minutes, so we ask that you register early to secure a spot.  Once spots fill up, we will form a wait list and individuals placed on the wait list will receive spots only if they become available and based solely on the date and time of the registration event.  Players placed on the wait list will receive an update on status as soon as possible via email.  There is no guarantee spots will be available through the end of registration.



If you are new to TeamSnap and would like to setup an account before registration with your participants, you can use this link.  PLEASE NOTE:  THIS WILL NOT REGISTER YOU FOR THE FALL SEASON.  Registration will open on July 22nd and registration must be completed at that time to be rostered for the season.



TSA is a 100% volunteer organization.  Every family is expected to volunteer in some capacity during the season (concession shifts, scoreboard, scorebook, team parent).  In addition, there are several volunteer opportunities that provide early registration access for the following season.  If you would like to know more or are interested in one of our long term volunteer openings, please email volunteer@timbergrovesports.org.



All play up requests MUST be sent to info@timbergrovesports.org by Friday, July 12th at 5 pm to be considered. Please provide your players name, date of birth, and reason for playing up.  Emails sent directly to Division Directors, Directors of Baseball, Softball or Soccer, Board Members, coaches or other TSA email addresses will not be considered. Players who were approved to play up in prior seasons must apply again to play up.



Cost for the fall season will be $250 for baseball and softball and $200 for soccer.  There are no multi-player family discounts.  Athletes may only play one sport at TSA per season.


TSA offers a scholarship program for families who need financial assistance with the registration fees.  A limited number of scholarships are available based on the league’s annual budget, community sponsorship received, and the overall number of registrants. Since scholarship funds are limited, applicants must meet certain financial criteria.  More information and the application to apply is located here:  https://www.timbergrovesports.com/scholarship/



Parents who register players and then request to withdraw players will be entitled to a full refund until the close of registration on July 29.  If a parent requests to withdraw a player(s) after July 29, they will not be entitled to a refund.



Parents must register players with their actual date of birth in the registration link.  TSA does not tolerate birthdate falsification. Parents will be required to show birth certificates, if requested. If the Board determines that the child’s birthdate has been falsified, then that child will not be allowed to play for that entire season and no refund shall be issued.


Specifics for the different divisions/sports for Fall 2024 are as follows:



Note:  4U, 6U teams will be co-ed.  8U, 10U, 12U will offer a Girls division and an Open division.  Girls who want to play in the open division are encouraged to do so.

In the event that registration numbers do not support a Girls division, the sub-divisions will be merged into a single co-ed division.

NOTE:  There will be a required skills assessment for 6U, 8U, 10U, and 12U divisions on Saturday August 10th at TSA.  Assessment times will be staggered by division and last name.  Please make every effort to attend!

New this Fall - TSA will be following the USA Softball age guidelines which means the age ranges for divisions have shifted.  To determine the division applicable, click here or read below.

Players whose birthday fall into the range where they would have played in the older division using the prior TSA ranges will have the option during registration to choose to play up or remain in the division below based on their birth date.

6U - 9/1/2017 - 8/31/2019

8U - 9/1/2015 - 8/31/2017

10U - 9/1/2013 - 8/31/2015

12U - 9/1/2011 - 8/31/2013

14U - 9/1/2009 - 8/31/2011



Dependent on interest level, baseball will offer a Shetland Minor division again this fall for players born between 5/1/2020-4/30/2021.   Players in this date range will be automatically rostered to Shetland Minor, but may be requested to move to Shetland pending registration results.
